Applications for admission to the following M.Ed. Programmes of the Institute are invited on the prescribed forms obtainable from Central Record Office of the Institute along with Prospectus, on deposting Rs. 100/- in Account No. 101, Habib Bank Quaid-i-Azam Campus, University of the Punjab, Lahore or through mail by sending Bank Draft for Rs. 130/- in favour of the Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of the Punjab, Lahore.  Forms will be available from August 04, 2008.

M.Ed. (GENERAL) ONE YEAR 2008-2009
(Morning Classes)

Eligibility Requirements:

1. B.A./B.Sc. or equivalent degree (with English plus two elective subjects) plus B.Ed., at least in Second Division OR B.S.Ed. at least in Second Division
   
   
2. Age limit, 26 years with relaxation according to rules.  No age limit for
   in-service teachers with three years educational (teaching/administrative) experience in a recognized institution from the date of notification of result of the first professional examination P.T.C./ C.T./ S.V./ O.T./ B.Ed./ B.S.Ed
   
   
3. The candidate should have earned any of the above mentioned professional  degree on or before August 25, 2008.

M.Ed. (SCIENCE) ONE YEAR 2008-2009
(Morning Classes)

Eligibility Requirements:

1. B.Sc. (with English plus two of the subjects from Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) plus B.Ed. at least in Second Division OR B.S.Ed. at least in Second Division.
   
   
2. Age limit is same as for M.Ed. Elementary/Secondary (Morning Classes).

(SELF-FINANCE SEATS)

Some seats are available in above mentioned programmes on depositing Rs. 50,000/- per seat in addition to the normal dues.

M.Ed. (SPECIAL) TWO YEARS 2008-2010
(Evening Classes)

Eligibility Requirements:

1. B.A./B.Sc. or equivalent degree (with English plus two elective subjects) plus B.Ed. at least in Second Division OR B.S.Ed at least in Second Division.
   
   
2. Station of duty of in-service candidates in or around Lahore within a radius of 65 kilometers from Quaid-i-Azam Campus, University of the Punjab, Lahore

In-service teachers must route their applications THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL.  Applications complete in all respects must reach the Central Record Office of the Institute by 2.00 p.m. on August 25, 2008.  Applications received after this date and time shall not be entertained.
