ENTRY TEST FOR ADMISSIONS

Concerning the admissions of 2 Years Masters Program (Semester System) for the year 2008, the University has decided to conduct pre-admission entry test in the following subjects:
Banking & Finance, Information Technology (IT), Geographical Information System (GIS), Sports Sciences, Botany, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Applied Hydrology, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Statistics & Actuarial Sciences, Bio-Chemistry & Bio-Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Zoology, Sociology, Social Work, Business Administration, Quality & Technology Management., English Language & Literature, Mathematics, Space Science, High Energy Physics, Integrated Mountain Research & Law.
The entry test forms shall be available from respective Department / Institute / College / Center from 25.07.2008. All those who are interested to take admissions in evening/replica programs of these departments should also appear in these tests. There shall be no separate entry test for evening/replica programs. The last date of submission of Entry Test forms to the respective Department / Institute /College /Center is 01.08.2008. The tests shall be conducted according to the following schedule.

The results of the Entry Test shall be available on www.pu.edu.pk as well as on the Notice Board of the concerned Department / Institute / Center / College on 21.08.2008. Clearance of entry test shall be mandatory for all the reserve seats without exception. Information about the venue and all other relevant information regarding the tests and admissions shall be available with the respective department/Institute/College/Center of the university.
There will be NO ENTRY TEST for the following subjects and the admissions shall be made only on merit
Arts & Design, Arabic, French, Kashmiriat, Persian, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Coal Technology, Geology, Library & Information Science, History, Archeology, Political Science, Geography, Philosophy, Law, Psychology & Applied Psychology, Islamic Studies, Economics, Commerce (M.Com.), Communication studies, Administrative Sciences.
The final schedule of admissions shall be advertised just after the declaration of Punjab University B.A./B.Sc. results. |
