USER ACCEPTANCE TESTING (UAT) OF CMS FOR
FACULTY OF SCIENCES AND GUJRANWALA CAMPUS
 

The User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of Campus Management Solution is schedule from 20th April to 23rd April 2009 (for Departmental User) and from 27th April to 30th April 2009 (for Departmental Heads).
The goal of User Acceptance Testing Phase is to establish the correctness of the system with reference to the requirements that were specified in the requirements gathering phase. Each department/ college has 2 weeks to verify CMS.

USERS:
Users who participated in the CMS Orientation training program conducted in the Main Library have seen the video based functioning of the system.  The same nominees (same set of people) is suggested/ recommended for testing and using the system in the UAT phase.

UAT SCHEDULE FOR USERS:
For each department, 4 days per week are scheduled for hands-on practice and system verification from 9:00am to 2:00pm in Main Library Computer Lab.

Users' Week:

  • Day 1: Admissions - 20th April 2009
  • Day 2: Student Records - 21st April 2009
  • Day 3: Student Financials - 22nd April 2009
  • Day 4: Advisement, Campus Community. - 23rd April 2009

UAT SCHEDULE FOR HEADS OF TEACHING DEPARTMENTS:

Department Heads, Principals, Chairmen and Chairpersons are requested to take feedback from their staff members after Users' Week so that they can sign off their departmental configuration at the end of HODs week. They are requested to attend the UAT sessions in the Main Library Computer Lab (10:00am to Noon) as per following schedule:

HODs Week: (Next Week of User-UAT)

  • Day 1: Admissions - 27th April 2009
  • Day 2: Student Records - 28th April 2009
  • Day 3: Student Financials - 29th April 2009
  • Day 4: Advisement, Campus Community - 30th April 2009
Please see the Users' Week and HODs Week dates in Schedule (click here to download the schedule - "UAT PHASE"). CMS team (IT Centre) and Techlogix teams will be there to address problems in CMS UAT Phase.

NOTE:

This will be only FOUR (4) DAYS training and the duration for this will be from 9:00am to 2:00pm .
Bring a person of relevant topic on the said date mentioned above.
