University of the Punjab has developed many international and national linkages with various institutions. The nature of collaboration with these universities/organizations includes joint research projects, exchange of academic staff, researchers and students, exchange of research publications, information and journals. It also aims to develop cooperation and consultation in curriculum development. Joint symposia, work shops and conferences are also part of the collaborative agenda.
