The School of Biological Sciences, in line with our national objectives to develop science and technology in general and the field of biotechnology in particular, was conceived jointly by the Provincial Government and the University of the Punjab. After a series of discussions and concept clearance sessions the objectives and the structure of the School has taken a definitive shape. The prime goals of the school are to create environment and facilities for high class teaching and research in the field of biological sciences in order to develop this school into a truly first rate institution of international recognition. The specific goals and objectives of the School are as given below.
