For MS / MS Leading to Ph.D.; M.Phil. / M.Phil. Leading to Ph.D.

1st Division / CGPA ≥ 2.5 in M.A. / M.Sc. / B.Sc (Hons.) 4 years, B.Sc. (Engineering), B.E. / MBBS / BDS degree or its equivalent in the relevant subject from a recognized University (At least 16 years of education; 130 credit hours). Having not more than two second divisions in an academic career. No 3rd division or “D” grade in entire academic career.

M.Phil. / M.Sc. (Engineering) / MD / MS or equivalent degree with CGPA ≥ 3.0. Having not more than two second divisions in an academic career (also fulfill above criteria for admission in MS / M.Phil.). No 3rd division or “D” grade in entire academic career.

Preference will be given to those candidates who have qualified International GRE (Subject) after acquisition of 18 years education, for others it will be mandatory to qualify International Subject GRE before submitting thesis.

Specific eligibility criteria of different departments will be provided by Department / Institute / College / Centre before the admission.
|

HEC awardees under indigenous scholarship scheme are encouraged to apply.

Prescribed application forms duly filled in and supported by the attested copies of educational certificates / degrees be submitted to the Chairman / Director / Principal of the respective Department / Institute / Centre / College along with admission processing fee

Candidates waiting for the result of 8th semester BS / 4th semester M.A. / M.Sc. can apply and have to produce result before interview. Otherwise they will not be considered for admission.

Application received after due date shall not be entertained. |
* Those candidates who appeared in NTS on 06-07-2008 can submit their NTS result card at the time of department test. |
