Dr. Muhammad Ramzan

Dr. Muhammad Ramzan is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS), University of the Punjab, Lahore. His work focuses on violence, adolescents, gender related issues, mental health, social wellbeing, professional ethic and human rights. His research interests include development of youth, gender and development, rights and culture, child and maternal health. He has participated in national and international workshops on human rights and gender mainstreaming and worked as resource person for human rights with special focus on rights of the children. He has lot of experience of working with civil society organizations, NGOs and indigenous communities. He has also been working as focal person for gender reform action programme (GRAP) and District Commission for Child Welfare and Development (DCCWD). He is an active member of research cell of ISCS and has a vast experience of field supervision.
