PU CSAS organizes seminar LAHORE: (Monday, November 16, 2015): Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) organized lecture on “Peace Building and Conflict Management Measures: A Comparative Study between Pakistan & Sri Lanka” in its auditorium. Ms Ammara Farooq Malik shed light on the topic while Director CSAS Prof Dr Umbreen Javaid, faculty members and MPhil/PhD scholars from CSAS and Department of Political Science were present on the occasion. In her address, Ms Ammara shared her views that peace building education was becoming an important area of study all over the world as was directly connected how we led our day to day life. She said as citizens of Pakistan, we were particularly affected by this problem. She said there were certain reasons behind this problem. To get rid of this problem, she introduced and explained two concepts of social entrepreneurship and social enterprise that is in the benefit of larger group of people. She said that world was no more ready to help us get rid of our problems. Therefore, we will have to proceed towards social entrepreneurship to get out our problems, she added.
