LAHORE: (Friday, January 22, 2016): Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) has organized one day seminar on “Qualitative Research Method; An Overview” in its auditorium. PU Department of Information Management Associate Professor Dr Shafiqur Rehman shed light on the topic while CSAS Director Prof Dr Umbreen Javaid, faculty members, MPhil/ PhD scholars of CSAS and the Department of Political Science attended the seminar. In his lecture Dr Shafiqur Rehman asked all the participants to share their views and tell their difficulties that they face in writing research articles of thesis work. He gave general view of all the concepts related to research methodology including major research approaches, issues, problems, methods, definitions and techniques. He also defined quantitative and qualitative research explained their differences and then how to use them in the research work.
