Kashmir Solidarity Walk held in PU ICS - UN urged to take notice of indian state terrorism in Kashmir


LAHORE: The faculty and students of Punjab University Institute of Communication have demanded the United Nations, US and International Court of Justice to take notice of Indian State terrorism in Occupied Kashmir and help resolve the issue in accordance with the UN resolutions.
They were addressing a rally held in connection with the Kashmir Solidarity Day at ICS under the auspices of ICS Character Building Society. ICS In-charge Director Dr Noshina Saleem, In-charge student affairs prof Shabir Sarwar, Dr Waqar Malik, Prof Amir Bajwa, Prof Fahad Mahmood, President ICS-CBS Farrukh Shahbaz Warraich, President Women Wing Khadija Chishti, Vice president Saeed Ahmad Saeed and a large number of students participated in the walk.
The participants said it seemed that UN, US have ignored this one of the most important conflict of the world. They said that Pakistanis can never ignore their Kashmiri brethren and they would raise their voice on all world forums. They also demanded the government to not ignore the issue in the name of track ii diplomacy.
About ICS: PU ICS is one of the oldest seat of media education in subcontinent. Established in the year 1941, now ICS is offering regular PhD programme, two MPhil Programmes, Four Master degree programmes including MSc Morning, MSc Raplica, MSc Film and TV , MSc Development Journalism, besides a four year BS programme and three programmes of one year diploma. A large number of celebrated media persons are alumni of PU ICS.
