LAHORE: (Thursday, March 3, 2016): Punjab University Department of Mathematics has organized sports gala 2016. Various indoor games for boys and girls were arranged in the department including Luddo, Carom, Bait bazi, Bangals wearing, banana eating, Mehndi competition, Badminton and blowing ballons as well as class room decoration had been played on this occasion. The outdoor games of girls were arranged in sports ground situated in hostel areas in which female students participated in different races, tug of war and badminton while the boys played their outdoor games including cricket, tug of war, football and different races in another ground. On this occasion, Chairman Department of Mathematics Dr Muhammad Sharif with faculty members were also present. Later, the chairman distributed prizes among the winners.
