Chinese delegation visits PU CSAS LAHORE: (Thursday, April 21, 2016): A five-member’s delegation from Chinese Institute of Contemporary International Relations, Beijing, China on Thursday paid a visit to Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies. Director CSAS Prof Dr Umbreen Javaid welcomed the delegation and gave a brief introduction of the centre along with its performance and achievements. Later, Senior Research Fellow Ms Marium Kamal gave a very thought provoking lecture on “Role of India in Afghanistan and the changing regional security scenario: Implication for Pakistan (2001-14)”.
