PU IQTM organizes anti-corruption seminar

LAHORE: (Monday, April 25, 2016): Punjab University Institute of Quality & Technology Management (IQTM) in collaboration with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) organized an anti-corruption seminar. Deputy Director NAB Muhammad Sajid, Director IQTM Dr Abdus Salam, faculty members, NAB officials and a large number of students were present on the occasion. In his address, Muhammad Sajid discussed the role of NAB in combating the menace of corruption in general by using a proactive approach in particular. He talked about various forms of corruption prevailing in our society, the reasons which could possibly lead to corruption and measures, which could be taken to prevent and/or minimize the corruption. The role of teachers and students in this important task was also discussed during the seminar. Director IQTM Dr Abdus Salam expressed his views for the occasion and lauded the efforts of NAB. Later, Deputy Director NAB Muhammad Sajid and his team met the faculty members and student body of Character Building Society of IQTM. A question answer session was also made part this seminar, which proved interesting and useful.
