PU CSAS meeting condemns IHK killings


LAHORE: (Tuesday, July 26, 2016): Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies on Tuesday held a meeting to condemn recent wave of brutalities on innocent Kashmiris in Indian Held Kashmir (IHK). The meeting was chaired by Director CSAS Prof Dr Umbreen Javed in which faculty members of Department of Political Science also participated. The meeting expressed their serious concerns on the alarming situation in Indian occupied Kashmir and condemned in strongest terms the brutalities of Indian forces and the massive killings of innocent civilians by the Indian forces in the occupied valley. The meeting considered the criminal silence of the International community and Human Rights organizations as a blot on the face of whole humanity. The meeting was concluded with a strong resolve to supports the freedom struggle of the Kashmir people on political, moral and academic fronts.
