PU, NAB organize anti-graft seminar, walk LAHORE: (Thursday, November 23, 2017): Punjab University Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics (MMG) in collaboration with National Accountability Bureau organized a seminar to create awareness among students against corruption at Al Raazi Hall here on Thursday. MMG Chairperson Prof Dr Anjum Nasim Sabri, NAB Director Maj (r) Ghulam Rasool, Additional Director NAB Muhammad Zahid, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Maj (r) Ghulam Rasool said that no nation could prosper without eliminating corruption at all levels. He said that corruption was one of the major problems of Pakistan. He said that we must raise voice and NAB was trying its best to create awareness against it. Later, MMG Chairperson Prof Dr Anjum Nasim Sabri led an awareness walk to create awareness against corruption from Al Raazi Hall. Students were carrying placards and banners inscribed with anti-graft slogans. The walk concluded outside Vice Chancellor’s office where PU VC Prof Dr Zafar Moeen Nasir addressed the participants of the rally and appreciated their efforts to create awareness against the menace.
