PU students get honored LAHORE: (Friday, February 23, 2018): Punjab University students have participated in various competitions organized at different institutions and won prominent positions. According to details, students including Yasir Waseem and Rukh-e-Noor obtained second positions in Urdu humorous debate and English serious debate competitions respectively in All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest organized by Lahore Grammar School. In Poster competition Waqas Liaqat, Muhamamd Junaid Asif and Aqsa got first, second and third positions respectively while the event was organized by Punjab University in collaboration with Higher Education Department on ‘Prevention of drug use tendencies in educational institutions’. Similarly, in SISA international debating & public speaking championship 2018 organized by School of International Science & Arts (SISA) Lahore the students including Ghulam Muhayy u Din Nizami declared winner in Urdu parliamentary debate, Masooma Fatima got English best speaker, English interpretive reading award & runners-up in impromptu award and Aaleem Zafar in English parliamentary debate.
