PU IAP organizes sports gala


LAHORE: (Wednesday, April 18, 2018): Punjab University Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP) has organized its annual sports gala at its lawns. Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, IAP Director Prof Dr Farah Malik, Pakistan Women Karate Association President Andleeb Sandhu, General Secretary of Pakistan Karate Federation, Zaeema Farooq, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion.

The participants filled the atmosphere with full encouragement, determination and complete zeal and zest. The event was organized by Ms. Zaeema Farooq and her organizing committee of students, by arranging and decorating the institute with colorful banners and stalls. Dr Farah Malik praised the efforts of the committees and further appreciated the vigor of participating students in co-curricular activities. The girls showed their performance in various sports. Different races, karate competitions, badminton, Ludo, Carom, football and cricket matches were held among students’ teams from different programs. In the closing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Farah Malik distributed prizes among the winners. She also acknowledged the faculty members, non-teaching staff and the umpires from the sports department.
