Seminar on Uswa e Hasna in the Faculty of Life Sciences ![]() The Faculty of Life Sciences organized a seminar on Uswa e Hasna in the Khorana Hall, Institute of Chemistry. Prof. Dr. Hammad Lakhvi, Dean Faculty of Islamic Studies was the speaker. A large number of faculty members and students from the faculty of Life Sciences attended the seminar. The Program started from recitation of the holy Quran and naat e Rasool. Prof. Dr. Firdaus-e-Bareen, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences, stressed the need to build the personalities of youngsters and students according to the religious and moral values as shown by Uswa e Hasna. She said that such programs should be organized to inculcate religious values and generate awareness among the students. Prof. Hammad Lakhvi stressed on the need to follow the holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) in all walks of life and change the lifestyle as shown by him. He narrated several incidents from the Islamic history to make the students understand how to divert towards Islam while performing our duties in life. He said that to follow Islam is very easy because it is very near to human nature and needs to be adopted as a whole package in our lives. After the speech, a lengthy question answer session was held. Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal Qazi, Chairman Dept. of Zoology narrated a naat written by him and concluded the program.
