Faculty members of Institute of Applied Psychology chaired the scientific sessions at the International Conference of Management and Social Sciences organized by Lahore Garrison University. Parallel scientific sessions were held in the two-day ICMSS. Director Institute of Applied Psychology, Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique, chaired the session with the theme “Covid-19 Pandemic and Mental Health”. Dr. Rafia shed light on the negative impact of pandemic on the psychological health of the masses with reference to the cases reported in the Mental Health Helpline by IAP. Dr. Fatima Kamran, Associate Professor IAP, chaired the session with the theme “Health Psychology” and focused on the difficulties faced by the vulnerable populations. Theme of the session chaired by Dr. Saima Ghazal, Associate Professor IAP, was “stressors, resilience and employee engagement” with an emphasis on workplace problems and the ways to improve employees’ productivity. Dr. Omama Tariq, Assistant Professor, IAP chaired the session with the focus on Parenting, parenting styles and Mental Health of the children. Whereas in the session chaired by Dr. Afifa Anjum, Assistant Professor, IAP, discussion revolved around different aspects of Social Psychology. Director Institute of Applied Psychology and faculty members of IAP lauded the management team of Lahore Garrison University for successful organization of the International Conference.
