PU IAP arranged a One-Day Workshop on "Planning and Executing your Doctoral Research"


Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, Lahore arranged a One-Day Workshop on "Planning and Executing your Doctoral Research". The workshop was conducted by Dr. Fatima Kamran and Dr. Saima Ghazal, Associate Professors at the Institute of Applied Psychology, which focused around the groundwork, tips for carrying out an effective doctoral research. A number of PhD students attended the workshop. It was a hands-on learning experience where an interactive discussion and question answer session held. Other salient key points during the process of doctoral dissertation like time management, managing work and relationships together were also enunciated by the resource persons. Both the professors aimed at not only coaching the Scholars on how to present and write the dissertation but also to motivate them through their own journeys and experiences. Such worthwile workshops are intended to continue in the future as well.
