Faculty and staff of the Institute of Applied Psychology arranged a farewell party for a long-serving employee, Mr. Muhammad Javed (Lab attendant) who had served IAP diligently and enthusiastically for about 26 years, 2 months and 25 days. The event started off with recitation of Holy Quran and Naat. Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique, Director Institute of Applied Psychology officially commenced the event by introducing Mr. Javed and mentioning the countless efforts put up by him for the Institute. Respectable faculty members like Dr Saima Ghazal Associate Professor, Dr. Afifa Anjum, Assistant Professor, Institute of Applied Psychology added up by sharing how Mr. Javed had always been an asset to the Institute starting from when she was a student till present and Mr. Faiz Younas, Lecturer, Institute of Applied Psychology, congratulated Mr. Javed on his retirement and gave him best wishes for his future. Admin time fiver IAP Mr Shafique Rehman and other non-teaching staff added one-liners saying they will miss him and they have fond memories of working with him, wishing him well and hoping that he attains all the success and a healthy life ahead. Moreover, the non-teaching staff handed Mr. Javed gifts and sweats the shield was handed over by Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique. She gave closing remarks by saying Mr. Javed has been an inspiration at IAP. The ceremony was followed by lunch and to pay tribute to Mr Muhd Javeed he was dropped home on the van of the Institute, decorated with balloons and loaded with gifts respectfully and with dignity.
