PU HCBF organizes seminar on Islamic Banking


LAHORE: (Thursday, December 7, 2017): Punjab University Hailey College of Banking and Finance has organized seminar on future prospects of Islamic Banks & HCBF graduates at its seminar hall. HCBF Principal Prof Dr Mubbsher Munawar Khan, Senior Vice President and talent hunt acquisition head at Meezan Bank Mr Kaleem Ahmed Riaz, branch manager Umar Bughal, faculty members and a large number of students were present on the occasion. Mr. Kaleem Ahmad Riaz explained in detail the growth of Islamic banking in Pakistan and highlighted the directives of SBP in this regard. He informed the aspiring students of the growth potential in Islamic Banking. Rewards and incentives for new entrants were also highlighted in detail. The branch license policy of SBP for Islamic banking branches was also explained in detail. The students were given a detailed view on the screening process followed for recruitment. A lively and interactive session added a lot to the level of motivation of the students making them charged to seize the opportunity. The participants while giving feedback on the seminar were enthusiastic on conducting such grooming sessions that add more to their worth for the employers.
