LAHORE: (Thursday, May 17, 2018): Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Amna Ali D/o Rustam Ali in the subject of Agricultural Sciences (Plant Pathology) after approval of her thesis entitled “Management of Collar Rot of Chickpea by Trichoderma and Bioactive Agents of Chenopodium Album”, Muhammad Nadeem Hafeez S/o Muhammad Hafeez in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled “Cloning of Mutated Universal Stress Protein Gene-2 (USP-2) in cotton and its Functional Characterization”, Muhammad Zafar Saleem S/o Muhammd Saleem in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled “Expression and Transformation Studies of Antifreeze Protein Gene of Carrot in Patato”, Kanwal Nazir D/o Nazir Ahmed Awan in the subject of Mathematics after approval of her thesis entitled “Evolution of the Universe in F(T,TG) Gravity” and Muhammad Kamran Malik S/o Muhammad Masood Malik in the subject of Computer Science after approval of his thesis entitled “Named Entity Recognition and Classification System for Urdu Language”.
