PU awards five PhD degrees


LAHORE: (Thursday, June 14, 2018): Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Muhammad Abdullah S/o Muhammad Jamil in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Hanafi Kotob-e-Usool Main Shafia Kay Usool-e-Estanbat-e-Akham Ka Tahqeeqi Mutalaa”, Kalima Akhtari D/o Muhammad Ibrahim in the subject of Persian after approval of her thesis entitled “Editing and Annotation of “Dewan e Mirza Mazhar Jan e Janan and Khareeteh e Jawahir with a Note on His Life and Analytical Study of the Poetry”, Anam Yousaf D/o Muhammad Yousaf in the subject of Environmental Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled “Ecological Modulation of Phytosterol of Selected Food Commodities to Control Hyperlipidemia”, Sumreen Hayat D/o Ahmed Hayat in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics after approval of her thesis entitled “Biological Activities of Ginger and Turmeric Extracts: Effects on Antibiotic Resistant Biofilms Forming Bacteria” and Manzoor Hussain S/o Muhammad Sharif in the subject of Microbiology & Molecular Genetics after approval of his thesis entitled “Application of DNA Y-STR Analysis in Forensic Cases”.
