LAHORE: (Tuesday, July 31, 2018): Punjab University has awarded five PhD degrees to the scholars in which Farooq Saleem S/o Muhammad Saleem in the subject of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) after approval of his thesis entitled “Phytochemical and Antimicrobial Investigation of Pteris Cretica L”, Sajjad Ahmad S/o Gulshad Khan in the subject of Library & Information Science after approval of his thesis entitled “Status of Soft Skills and Need for Their Development: Perceptions of the University Information Professionals in Pakistan”, Fouzia Hanif D/o Muhammad Hanif in the subject of Punjabi after approval of her thesis entitled “Resistance in Pakistani Punjabi Prose (Research and Criticism)”, Muhammad Saeed Akhtar S/o Muhammad Sadiq in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Imam Ibn-e-Taymiyah’s Approach to the Quranic Sciences – An Analytical Study” and Faidad Khan S/o Afzal Khan in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of his thesis entitled “Molecular Characterization of Streptococcus Pneumoniae Surface Protein A (PspA) in Pakistani Isolate”.
