PU CCP marks World’s Down syndrome Day LAHORE: (Monday, March 22, 2021): Punjab University Centre for Clinical Psychology (CCP)’s Living Institute for Slow Learners (LISL) organized an awareness program for children with Down syndrome in reference to World’s Down Syndrome Day. On this occasion Punjab University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar visited the centre and appreciated the efforts made by Director CCP Prof Dr Saima Dawood, faculty members and staff of LISL towards the betterment of children with special needs. Parents of students of LISL were also invited to the program and they were given tips for managing their special needs. The event was organized to show support for these amazing children and their parents. The event was based on different activities such as face painting and hand painting showing our togetherness with these children, write a message and information spread through brochures along with the balloon release ceremony to show the support and spread awareness.
