LAHORE: (May 06): Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to Bushra Rashid, Muhammad Zaid Malik and Noor Habib. Bushra Rashid D/o Abdul Rashid Malik has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Molecular Biology after completion of her thesis entitled ‘Transformation of Cotton with BT Genes to Develop Sustainable Resistance’. She completed her thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Tayyab Husnain of Punjab University’s National Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology.
Muhammad Zaid Malik S/o Malik Ghulam Murtaza has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Arabic after completion of his thesis entitled ‘Al-Sheikh Muhammad Anwar Shah Kashmiri as a Muhaddith (A Critical Study and Editing of Al-Arif Al-Shadhi Sharh Sunan Al-Tirmindhi)’. He completed his thesis under the supervision of University of Sargodha Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Akram Chaudhary.
Noor Habib S/o Mian Gul has been awarded PhD degree in the subject of Islamic Studies after completion of his thesis entitled ‘A Research Study of Tafseer Mawahib-ur-Rehman’. He completed his thesis under the supervision of Prof Dr Hafiz Mahmood Akhtar of PU Department of Islamic Studies. |
