LAHORE: (May 12): Punjab University and Kansas State University (KSU), (Manhattan, Kansas, USA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to exchange students and teachers mobility, to do joint researches and collaborate in other areas of mutual interest.
The MoU was signed by KSU President (VC) Dr. Jon Wefald and PU VC Dr Mujahid Kamran during his visit to Manhattan, Kansas, USA. According to the MoU, Punjab University and Kansas State University have agreed on the following statement of intent on cultural, educational and research cooperation.
1. Facilitating the mobility of students and staff for degree programs at the university.
2.The exchange of scholars and scientists to conduct research of mutual interest.
3. The exchange of professors for lectures and short term visits.
4. Invitations to scholars for participation in conferences, symposia and instruction.
5. Exchange of information, academic materials and publications in fields of mutual interest.
6. Facilitating the mobility of students, through exchange and visits, between the two universities.
