LAHORE (Tuesday, March 17): Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran chaired a meeting of Deans Committee held in the vice-chancellor's office committee room here at New Campus on Tuesday. The meeting offered fateha for the departured soul of PU Oriental College former Principal and Government College University Faculty of Arts Dean Prof Dr Sohail Ahmad Khan. The meeting highlighted paid tremendous tributes to the academic and teaching services of Dr Sohail Ahmad Khan.

Later, the Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran directed the Conveners of the concerned sub-committees of the book fair 2009 to hold their meetings and help the administration in organizing the book fair. He also directed them to ensure the full participation of merit students in the committees.

It is mentioned worthy that like previous year, the PU administration is organizing book fair and April 2-4 has been declared tentative date for this year's book fair.
