LAHORE (Monday, March 23): Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that March 23 is of immense importance in the history of Pakistan and on this all great Pakistanis must make a commitment resolve to work for the development and prosperity of the country. He said educational institutions and specially universities will have to play pivotal role in this regard because education and research are very important for the development and prosperity of a country. In a message to over 30,000 students of the varsity, he advised them to prefer our country Pakistan over their provinces and cities. He said after completing their education, they must play active role for the prosperity of their country. Dr Mujahid said those students who get education at public sector schools, colleges and varsities, they are indebted to the nation and they must not forget this reality after completing their education. He said, to pay back a part of this debt to the nation, they must work for the image building of our country and try to promote soft image of Pakistan while chatting on internet and during communication with citizens of foreign countries. He said 23rd March is the day to make resolves to ourselves to contribute even little individual efforts for the wellbeing of our homeland Pakistan .
