LAHORE (Thursday, March 26): Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to Muhammad Akram and Muhammad Afzal Zahid.
Muhammad Akram S/o Allah Dita has been awarded PhD in the subject of Earth & Environmental Sciences after completion of his thesis entitled ‘Environmental and economical implications of municipal solid waste compost applications to agricultural fields in Punjab , Pakistan ' . He completed his thesis under the supervision of Punjab University Institute of Geology Director Prof Dr Nasir Ahmad while his co-supervisor was Prof Dr Atta Muhammad Ranjha from Institute of Soil & Environmental Sciences, University of Agriculture , Faislabad.
Muhammad Afzal Zahid S/o Abdul Ghafoor has been awarded PhD in the subject of Mathematics after completion of his thesis entitled ‘Gravitational Collapse: A Key Issue in General Relativity' . He completed his thesis under the supervision of Punjab University Department of Mathematics Prof Dr Muhammad Sharif.
