LAHORE (Sunday, March 29): Punjab University spokesman has said that the administration is organizing Book Fair 2009 like previous year from April 9-11 so those publishers and booksellers who want to establish their book stalls, must contact only Dean Faculty of Oriental Learning and Stalls Management Committee Convener Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Mazhar (Ph: 9231143, Fax: 9231173) at Oriental College, Old Campus and Chief Librarian Chaudhary Muhammad Hanif (Ph: 9231124, Fax: 9230982, Cell: 0304-4077185) at Main Library, New Campus. He said that PU administration is organizing book fair with the help of committees comprising teachers and students nominated by teachers and interference of any kind from any single group would not be allowed. The spokesman also said that PU has a good fame in sports in the country because all sports are organized by Director Sports and rules and regulations have been established in this regard. He said organizing of any sports event without prior permission of Director Sports would not be allowed on the campus.
