LAHORE (Tuesday, March 31): Punjab University has won the Short Film and Photography competitions at MFest 2009 organized by Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI). College of Art & Design (CAD) students’ team comprising Zaid Mian, Agha Turab Ali, Zai Nizami and Hassan Hameed participated in Short Film event and staged seven-minute short film “The Pages” which was greatly applauded by the audience.

In the Speed Photography by Mohsin Khawar was just another example of an epitome of fantasy with a beautiful piece of camera work. The whole team was gelled together by Komal Hassan and was also appreciated in the categories of Short Commercial and Post Design. Teams from all universities and colleges of the country participated in the event.

Vice-Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran has felicitated the PU winning team and the PUCAD Principal and other teachers, who supervised the team.
