LAHORE (Monday, March 09): Punjab University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that Maulana Zafar Ali Khan was a great benefactor of our nation and his name will remain alive in our history forever. He was talking to a delegation of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan Trust who met him here in the Vice-Chancellor House led by Khalid Mahmood Chairman of the Trust. The members of the Board of Governors of the Trust who accompanied him in this delegation were Masud Ali Khan, Asad Ali Raja, Masood Butt and Prof Dr Shafiq Jullandhry.

Dr Mujahid Kamran was apprised of the objectives and activities of the Trust and was also presented a set of the books of Maulana Zafar Ali Khan's poetry published by the Trust. Different aspects of the possible cooperation between the university and the Trust were discussed during this meeting.
