LAHORE (Monday, March 09): Punjab University Academic Staff Association (PUASA) and employees jointly arranged a Mefil-e-Naat –o- Samaa here at New Campus on Monday in which renowned Naat Khawans and Qawwals of the country participated. Prof Israr Chishti performed the duties of stage secretary. Prof Abdul Qayyum, Hafiz Hamid Raza, Hina Nasr Ullah, Mahboob Hamdani, Jamshed Chishti and Mudassar Hamdani recited Naats (PBUH) while Qawwal Nayyar Ijaz presented qawwali on the occasion.

Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, Additional Registrar Prof Dr Aurangzeb Alamgir, Chairman Physics Department Prof Dr Shaukat Ali, Malik Muhammad Zaheer and Dr Zaid Chaudhry were also present on the occasion.

The sweets were distributed among the audience in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).
