LAHORE (Monday, March 09): Punjab University Career Development Center (CDC) actively participated in organizing International Women Day 2009 in collaboration with the White Ribbon. A large number of students participated in the activity of “Candle light Vigil” at Lahore Press Club on behalf of CDC showing support to the women rights. They were putting slogans on charts and banners for expressing its solidarity for empowering the Women on International Women Day. Career Development Center Volunteer group of students participated enthusiastically in this activity.

CDC Career Development Officer Ms Shazia Tasleem also participated in this awareness campaign with zeal and zest and appreciated their volunteers' support for organizing the in particular day.
