M.S Communication Studies (Replica) |
 |
|
This program aims at producing competent graduates to face the challenges of the new millennium and avoid the traditional path of sensationalism and too much politics in journalism. Development journalism creates an environment in the society apt for development. It covers developmental issues i.e. environment, education, children and women, agriculture, rural life, poverty alleviation, health, development planning and implementation, and encourages cooperative and self-help programs. Development Journalism plays the role of a true watch dog to society and tries to give empowerment to the impoverished. This program trains and prepares the real leaders of the future who can bring about a revolution in society by creating awareness and by encouraging positive activities.
