LAHORE: (Wednesday, August 31, 2016): Punjab University Department of Information Management (DoIM) organized exclusive six days training course for the City School Librarians. The both institutions joined hands to uplift the school media librarianship in Pakistan. DoIM Chairperson Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen and City School Network Libraries Coordinator Ms Nadira Tahir took this initiative to create model school libraries in Pakistan. The trainers Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, Dr. Muhammad Rafiq and Dr. Syeda Hina Batool delivered their exclusive sessions on creating vibrant environment, information communication technology, information literacy instruction and storytelling.

All the sessions were very well received and appreciated by the participants. The participants were urged to implement skills and strategies learnt during this training course to make state of the art school libraries.
