LAHORE: (Monday, August 25, 2025): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali planted saplings at the Institute of Education & Research and Institute of Zoology as part of a tree plantation drive. In this regard, the ceremony was attended by Chairman Department of Advanced Studies and in Education Prof Dr Muhammad Shahid Farooq, Secretary Academic Staff Association Dr Muhammad Islam, Director Institute of Zoology Prof Dr Nabila Roohi, Chairman Hall Council Prof Dr Muhammad Akbar Khan, faculty members and employees. PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali said that it is necessary to plant as many trees as possible to avoid the damages of climate change. He urged the teachers, employees and students of PU to plant trees around them and take care of them for a better future.
