On Monday, September 29th, 2025, Ms. Muqaddas Asif, a dedicated Ph.D. candidate under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rafia Rafique at the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab, successfully defended her doctoral dissertation. The public defense and viva voce examination were held at the Institute’s Auditorium, with esteemed external examiners Prof. Dr. Shameem Fatima from COMSATS University, Islamabad, Lahore Campus, and Prof. Dr. Amina Muazzam from Lahore College for Women University evaluating the presentation.
Ms. Muqaddas Asif’s dissertation, titled “Efficacy of Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing for the Management of Substance Use Disorders,” reflects a significant contribution to the field of Applied Psychology.
