Thursday 6th September 2018: This year the Defence Day is being observed on the theme “I love Pakistan” and “Pakistan stands for peace.” University of the Punjab Jhelum Campus organized a peaceful walk to give tribute to the martyrs’ of 1965 war.

While addressing to the students Director Campus Dr. Muhammad Mudasar Ghafoor shared the vision of the Worthy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar that Pakistan Army is giving its best to defend the country on the border now the country needs our commitment to defend our beloved Pakistan through education, technology, scientific learning, good behavior, economic prosperity and self-sufficiency in every field of life. He also added that Heroes are made by the paths they choose, we have not forgotten the sacrifices made by our Brave Armed Forces.

It is worth mentioning that all the faculty members, administrative staff and students attended the peaceful walk.
