LAHORE: (Thursday, December 3, 2020): Punjab University College of Art & Design (CAD)’s Department of Graphic Design has organized a two-day seminar on “Visual Story Telling” with Ms. Nirmal Bano and Mr. Ali Zeb Raees. The seminar covers the basics of visual storytelling, the technicalities of film making, script writing and history. Ms. Nirmal Bano, a professional script writer, who has written the story of famous movie “Zindagi Tamasha” and Mr. Alizeb Raees, a professional filmmaker, who has directed the movie “Janha Araa”, which is selected in Kans Film Festival attend the seminar. Principal College of Art & Design, Faculty Members and MFA students of Graphic Design and Painting have attended the seminar. Dr Ahmad Bilal, head of Design Department, has said that this seminar was a step towards regular courses in film and performing arts under an independent department of performing arts and musicology, along with Research Centre for Creative Arts. He said that these activities will strengthen the creative skills among students. The seminar was conducted for two days at Lecture Theatre and Computer Lab in the College of Art & Design, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
