Course Outline Merit = 35 Reserve = 00 Total = 35 Admission Criteria Eligibility: • M.Sc. Applied Geology / BS Applied Geology (04 years degree) or its equivalent, are eligible for admission in M.Phil Applied Geology degree program. • 1st Division / CGPA > 2.5 in M.Sc. Applied Geology / BS Applied Geology 04 years degree or its equivalent in the relevant subject form a recognized University (16 years of educations; 130 credit hours). • All the candidates will have to appear for a written test and interview. • Other conditions as per Punjab University admission rules. Merit Criteria: Basic Criteria and as per Clause 24 (b) Admission Regulations 2017-18, Page (8) An applicant shall be judged on the basis of the following merit criteria: • Entry test: 40% • Academic Qualification: 40% • Interview: 10% • Publication in HEC approved Journal: 05% (01 mark for each publication) • Professional Experience in the relevant filed: 05% (01 mark for each year) Department Institute of Geology Faculty Geo-Sciences
