Individual Counseling sessions
Individual Counseling sessions are provided to the students in an easily approachable, comfortable and confidential environment in the offices of Students Counseling Services at Health Center and in Directorate of Students Affairs (STC).The counseling sessions are one to one with the student counselor and lasts 45min to an hour depending upon the need and situation. Students are given appointment on weekly basis which they have to follow.
If your department wants to arrange any seminar on the general issues commonly seen in students you may contact us through e-mail or phone or you may visit us at Health Centre.
Keeping in view the emerging need of providing a proper channelized plan for University Students in order to help them in dealing with their daily problems, an awareness program for students has been initiated by counseling center since January 2019. A proper program has been started in this regard in which the student counselor will visit each University Department and will deliver interactive lectures for students in their classes in order to create awareness regarding mental health problems and also developing coping strategies to deal with these problems.
Let’s Talk Program
Let's Talk is a program that provides easy access to informal confidential conversations with Student counselor from Counseling Services. Thursday from 2-3pm an interactive activity with the students will be arranged related to specific “Topic of the Day” .Students are encouraged to participate as it is healthy for their personal grooming and personality development. There are no charges students have to book their appointment in the office of Directorate of Students Affairs during the week.
