November 25, 2025---Ms. Saliha Tuna, Country Manager of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), visited the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab, to discuss the feasibility and on-site review of research projects submitted to the agency. She was accompanied by Programme Officer Mr. Muhammad Anis Khan.

The delegation was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman, Director CEMB, who briefed the visitors on key research initiatives currently underway at the institute. Also present at the meeting were Prof. Dr. Shahid Baig (Senior Advisor/ Adjunct Professor at CEMB), Prof. Dr. Bushra Rashid, Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum Rao, Dr. Allah Bakhsh, Dr. Abdul Munim Farooq, and Mr. Tahir Rafiq (Director Finance).
The guests toured various laboratories at CEMB, after which they attended a presentation summarizing the research proposals submitted to TİKA.
