Punjab University 's Assistant Professor Delivered a Keynote talk at International Smart Agriculture Conference

Wednesday, March 25, 2026: Malik Fiaz Hussain Ferdosi, Assistant Professor at the Department of Horticulture, University of the Punjab, was invited as a keynote speaker at the "Two-Days International Conference on Smart Agriculture Systems for Food Security & Sustainability." The prestigious event was hosted by Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) as part of the Pakistan-China Belt & Road Joint Agriculture initiative. During the conference, Mr. Ferdosi delivered an insightful presentation titled "Phytochemical profile of Lycianthes rantonnetii flowers and identification of possible bioactive compounds." His research contributes significantly to the understanding of bioactive properties in ornamental plants, highlighting their potential applications in pharmaceutical and sustainable agricultural sectors. Following his talk, Mr. Ferdosi was honored with a certificate of appreciation presented by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of GCUF.
