LAHORE: (Wednesday, February 04, 2026): Punjab University Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) has organized the 15th career fair 2026 to bring together graduating students and leading industry employers under one roof. On this occasion, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali, Pro-VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, Vice Chairman P@SHA Raheel Iqbal, CEO, Tkxel Umair Javaid, CEO, BrainX Junaid A. Qureshi, Asad Mehmood from Ozi Technology, COO, Tiksom Mr. Muhammad Junaid Butt, eminent academicians, industry leaders, faculty members and students were present. In his address, PU VC Prof Dr Muhammad Ali highlighted the importance of strengthening academia–industry linkages to prepare graduates for the rapidly evolving technology sector. He said that the career fair would be fruitful for the students of BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Information Technology and BS Data Science programs. As many as 500 graduating students participated in the event, including students from the University of the Punjab Gujranwala Campus. More than 60 well-reputed companies registered as recruiters, including top-notch software houses and corporate organizations.
