LAHORE: (Friday, March 3, 2017): Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir has launched a massive tree plantation drive and announced to plant 15,000 trees on campus. In this regard, the VC planted 12 trees at VC House.

The VC also issued instructions to all the faculty members and employees to plant trees on campus and look after their trees until they are in service. The Vice Chancellor said that trees guaranteed healthy environment and necessary for a healthy life. He said that the university had introduced green campus program for saving environment.
